How will I know I’m connected to my Practitioner? 

If you are connected to a healthcare practitioner, you will have a banner at the top of this website and emails from Metagenics that says ‘Connected to Practitioner Name’.

How long does the connection with my healthcare practitioner last? 

You are connected with your healthcare practitioner indefinitely, unless one of the below criteria are met. 

  1. You have not made a purchase within 12-months of receiving your ‘invitation to connect’ email. 
  2. You have not a made purchase for 12 consecutive months. 
  3. You have requested to be disconnected by following the disconnection steps outlined here. 

What personal & health information does my Practitioner share with Metagenics, and vice versa? 

We take privacy very seriously at Metagenics and only share information that is pertinent to our fulfilment of your product orders. 

We provide a monthly statement to all healthcare practitioners that displays their patient names so they can see any credits that have been provided in association with patient purchases. 

Your healthcare practitioner does not share any of your health-based information with Metagenics.

How does my connection benefit the healthcare practitioner? 

Metagenics provide healthcare practitioners a credit based on the purchases completed by their connected patients each month.

How can I disconnect from a healthcare practitioner? 

You can request to be disconnected from your healthcare practitioner at any time by contacting Metagenics here.

I’ve been notified that I have been disconnected from my healthcare practitioner. Why? 

You are connected with your healthcare practitioner indefinitely, unless one of the below criteria are met. 

  1. You have not made a purchase within 12-months of receiving your ‘invitation to connect’ email. 
  2. You have not a made purchase for 12 consecutive months. 
  3. You have requested to be disconnected by following the disconnection steps outlined here. 

If you wish to retain your connection to your healthcare practitioner, please reach out to your healthcare practitioner so they can invite you to reconnect as a patient. 

Will I still be able to order products when I’m disconnected from my practitioner? 

You will be able to access a large portion of the Metagenics product range, with the exception of products that should be taken under the guidance of a healthcare practitioner. 

Once disconnected, you will see ‘Find a Practitioner’ instead of ‘Shop Now’ on any products that you are unable to access without the guidance of a healthcare practitioner. If you wish to gain access to these products, you will need to seek the advice of a healthcare practitioner, reconnecting as a patient. 

Can I be connected to multiple practitioners at once? 

Unfortunately, we are unable to support connections to multiple healthcare practitioners at this time. We recommend that you connect to your primary healthcare practitioner to access the Metagenics range.

Can I transfer to a new healthcare practitioner? 

Absolutely! We understand that you may need to transfer your healthcare practitioner for a number of reasons. To transfer your connection, please disconnect with your current healthcare practitioner using these steps and contact your new healthcare practitioner for a new invitation.

What happens to my order history if I transfer to a new healthcare practitioner?

Your order history will remain visible even after you disconnect from your healthcare practitioner.
