PainX combines the potent combination of Meta Mag® – Magnesium bisglycinate and Levagen+™ Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA), in two easily absorbed forms that support muscle function and relieve neuromuscular pain through analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. PainX can shorten mild migraines from days to hours, with pain relief from 90 minutes and works with the body to target headaches at the source.

Directions

Adults: Add 1 scoop (5g) to 200mL water twice daily, or as directed by your healthcare professional. If symptoms persist, consult your healthcare professional.

Warnings

This medicine is not to be used for more than 21 consecutive days, and may interact with other prescription analgesic medicines. Please consult your healthcare Practitioner before use. Suitable for individuals 18 years and over. Mineral supplements should not replace a balanced diet.

This product is naturally coloured with a black carrot extract which interacts when mixed in water to cause a colour change. As the product is stirred into water, it will turn blue before returning to a dark red hue.

This product is sold by weight not volume. Some settling may occur.

What is PEA and how does it relieve pain?

Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) is a chemical that the body naturally produces in response to pain, it is also found in some foods. PEA influences nerve signalling, helping to reduce pain and swelling associated with mild nerve pain. When experiencing severe pain and inflammation, the body cannot produce enough PEA naturally. Taking a PEA supplement can help to boost PEA levels, helping to restore its protective and pain relieving effects.

I have noticed that when I take products containing magnesium, I experience soft stools or diarrhea. Should I stop taking it?

At Metagenics, we use a specific form of high-quality magnesium known as magnesium bisglycinate or Meta Mag®. This form of magnesium is bound to the amino acid glycine, which improves its bioavailability and absorption. It is also gentler on the stomach and less likely to cause gastrointestinal upsets. However, some people may still experience loose stools or diarrhea when taking high doses of magnesium. If this happens, try reducing your dose by half, e.g. Instead of taking two serves per day, cut down to one serve. You can then gradually increase it over a week or two to find the optimal dose for you.
